Emma Low
Family Day Care Coordinator and Nominated Supervisor
I have lived and breathed Early Childhood Education for more than 30 years. I began by completing my Certificate 3, my Diploma and then my Degree – a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood 0-8 years) in 2001. I have used all of my qualifications in a range of early childhood provisions- casual worker, nanny, preschool teacher, room leader, centre director, accreditation support officer, project coordinator, parenting group facilitatory, Tafe Teacher and now my most favourite- Family Day Care Coordinator.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have built a diverse and longstanding career in Early Childhood Education and Care, and I am a passionate advocate for the vital role our sector plays in shaping children’s futures.
My experience in Family Day Care, particularly with the team at Western Sydney Family Day Care, has reinforced my belief that passion, dedication and commitment remain at the heart of high-quality early childhood education. Every day, I am inspired by the educators and professionals who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
I am committed to ensuring our team and educators have the support, resources, guidance and compliance frameworks they need to perform their roles with confidence and excellence.
We all share a common purpose: to ensure every child has equitable access to high-quality education and care that nurtures their growth, learning and development in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
